I decided to try Ethiopian food for the first time and ordered take out from Addis. I’m not vegetarian but in an effort to try a good spread of different things, I got the Joe Burrow special, which combines the veggie combo platter with a chickpea stew and a side of injera. I wasn’t sure if that would be enough for two people so I added two orders of sambusas. It was MORE than enough. The food was packaged nicely and was hot and fresh. The two people who helped me were friendly and courteous.
Y’all this food was so good 🥹 The flavors are bright and unique. Eating with the injera is so fun. I felt very satiated without feeling heavy or sluggish. I brought the leftovers to work the next day for lunch and it was just as good.
This place is such a treat and so affordable, I think is a new weekly spot for me 💞
I make a point to visit Ethiopian restaurants any time I'm in the area. Addis has some of the best wheat, tibs, and red lentils I've had.
Can't wait to come back and try more of the menu.
I have been looking for Ethiopian food since I moved to Louisiana 4 years ago! I am so glad I found this place! The food is delicious, with great wait staff! Prince was friendly and informative! I wish I lived closer, but I’m definitely going back.

The food was exceptionally good and the service was second to none!! As a NOLA small business owner myself, to watch and be served by the restaurant owner was amazing! As a first-time visitor, he made sure that I knew the offerings and that I was satisfied with my selection!! I will be back!

Had the most divine time and the staff was amazing. I got to know the owner's children, who are amazing young men. They were very welcoming and informative about the history of the restaurant.
Had the red snapper with rice and the veggie tray with injera bread. Gonna use my leftover injera for twist-on crepes in the morning.
